Photomontage
I begin with a single photo, adding others 'til a theme arises. For the most part, a title comes after a montage is completed. When out and about, I’ll take as much interest in the shape and color of a leaf or flower petal as I will a stunning landscape. I search for subjects which convey worn history. What the Japanese call wabi-sabi. Utilizing Photoshop, I paint with photos.
Aluminum Prints
Montages are printed on aluminum with a high-gloss finish. I’ve chosen to print on aluminum for its intensity of color and depth, and ease in wall hanging. On the back of each artwork lies a strong, affixed wall mount, for ease of hanging.

Terms
Each montage is printed upon order and payment received. We ship via UPS Ground. Turn around time is 2-3 weeks (unless I'm off–and–gone–incommunicado and can't be reached for a month or so). Prints are optimized to the artist’s specifications and cannot be customized or adjusted. No refunds will be offered. All sales are final. In the case of shipping damage a replacement will be sent, provided the following steps are adhered to:
SHIPPING DAMAGE: Notify us immediately. We ask for clear sharp photos of the unopened box, as well as detailed photos of the damaged art. Email the digital photos to johnstapleart@gmail.com Please include the order number in the subject line.
PRICES: Our production costs may fluctuate and the current pricing may change at any time. We will always honor the price at time of check out. The cost of shipping is included.
